Make the Connection


This petition for Women's Suffrage was signed by Frederick Douglass. Why would Frederick Douglass understand the need for Women's Suffrage?

    We think he understood the right for womens' suffrage because he was treated so badly as a child and slave he thought that every person man or woman should have equal rights.
