Wind Erosion Post 2

Watch the video. It shows dust storms from the 1930's. We know that overfarming contributed to what we now call the Dust Bowl. If you had been living then, what advice would you give the government to help stop the wind erosion? There is no sound for this video.

    I would tell the government to tell farmers to plant more trees and crops such as vegetables like potatoes,tomatoes and corn and then erosion would stop eroding the farms.

    I would probably have told the government to plant things that can help the dirt stay in place such as plants, grass, trees, and crops. I would tell him that not only will planting help keep the dirt in place, but the more crops you plant, the more food you provide for everybody.

    IT WOULD STOP IT BY PLANTING A LOT OF PLANTS, TREES, AND CROPS TO STOP THE WIND EROSION.
