Create a Graph is a wonderful tool for creating graphs (especially if your students don't know how to create spreadsheets). You can use the program to create bar, line, pie, and other types of graphs and you can print them or save them as a pdf or jpeg.
I want you to explore the site. Find three neat things you can share with the class. Create a graph using made up data and then save them to the desktop of your computer as a jpeg.

I love creating graphs especially for something like how many kids fall asleep in class or how many times I have a freeze in one day. I don't quite know why it is so much fun but I sure do like it!

We got to create a graph(Marlene).This cool site is very interesting.First, I thought it was going to be boring(Ana S).We made a pie graph it also looked terrible(Marlene).And it didn't look terrible,it look great(Ana S).Ana S is wrong it looked a little OK (Marlene).We learned that graphs are important and can help with something(Ana S).

ReplyDeleteI learned that the graphs can be used in many different ways. Some things like favorite juices go better with pie charts when others go better with bar graphs.

ReplyDeleteWhat i learned by the graph is that some things don't work in other graphs. like Favorite pies would work perfect in a pie graph. Favorite candy bars might not work that well. What is cool is that you can have a color for something in the key. What else is cool is that you can make the back ground how you want. What else is cool is that you can make it 3D.

ReplyDeleteWe learned that pie charts and line graphs and a bar graphs can be used in many different ways. Like a bar graph can be good for your favorite color.And a pie graph might be good for your favorite food. And a line graph would be good for your favorite classes.
