I think fifth grade students should
read non-fiction or realisms.
I think that 5th graders should read fiction books because it helps your mind think of cool make believe stuff
I would go with fiction because pretty much all I'm reading is medieval books and I'm liking them and doing really good on them. :)
Just finished reading, "Waiting for Normal" with my fifth grade class and they loved it. We also read "Al Capone Does My Laundry". Two wonderful books.
