Editing Pictures Using BeFunky

BeFunky.com is a picture editor that allows you to put "filters" on your picture. It is a pretty basic editing site for your pictures. Go to the site, upload your picture and try out the different filters. When you have decided on a picture or two, click save and choose download to the desktop.

That is very cool. I wasted a good deal of time playing around with it and think it will prove useful somewhere down the line. Thanks for the post.

This is great I really have been looking forward for new ways of presenting online work with the students of my school and this is exactly the sort of thing that I will be wanting to use!

@gail I think you could have some fun taking pictures of your students and using the line drawing filter. Instant color pages!

@Myles This is the easiest way to guide students to the sites I want them to use. Not only does it make it quicker than having the students type the url into the address bar, it also makes it easy for them to leave comments about what they find.

Yes, and that's a great way for empowering them about the online decision making process! Great idea.
