Creating Land Forms in Geography Using Dough








Eighth grade has been studying geography this term. Here is a project they are doing to make 3 dimensional models of land forms. Here is Irving explaining the project.

As a former science teacher, I treasure any and all hands on activities and this one is right on the mark. The use of colored play doh, a narrative, and molding the play doh into there various formations covers so many learning styles. Well done!

Have you considered using the play doh to illustrate fault lines?
