This really is a great idea. I have seen similar sorts of things done before, but without the video link to tie it all in. Its great to involve the teacher in explaining the students work so clearly like this, I dont know if Mrs Smith lines were was scripted but what a polished professional job! Great to see the artwork with it too of course! I could take this and show this to my staff and say "See!?!??!" this is what we should or could be doing. Hmmm that gives me an idea.

@NZWaikato Mrs. Smith is great! Not only was her performance not scripted, she did four in a row for me! I am staggering the publishing of them so that they can each have time to be viewed.

When I changed positions, one of my goals was to get the teachers more involved in presenting what they have students do. I am and will continue to get the teacher's perspective on the projects they have the students do. Not only does this help visitors understand the projects more clearly, it gives the teachers the opportunity to reflect.I only wish I had done this more when I was teaching fifth grade.

Yes, when you have people that are as talented as Mrs Smith its a great resource to share with others and blogging allows you a platform to do this. Going to tweet this post a bit and see if anyone else agrees!
