Student Reflection: Yessy on Her Science Fair Project

This is our first video reflection by a student in my classroom this year. Yessy does an outstanding job of modeling for the rest of the students.

You will need to turn your volume way up to hear.

You did really good Yessy! I could tell you knew what you were talking about.Anyone could easily see that you understand your project, and that's really important because if you don't understand your project or don't even have any interest in what your doing, chances are you won't do very good. I know that you'll do good though! Love you!

Yessy - as a teacher I am always looking for modelling, that is, outstanding examples of work to show to my classroom as a model of how to do things. This fits the bill on so many levels, you've given a perfect explanation of what you did, you've done so very professionally (we'll also be showing this to the teachers at our school as well, its such a great example) and I can definatly use it as a teaching example - even from the other side of the world! New Zealand thanks you!

I really like this idea, and you did a great job of modelling it to other students. I'll show this to my class next week, and see what they think about using the idea in our classroom.
